Clutter Blues & Clutter Cures
“Junk Drawer” It's called a junk drawer for a reason—a mishmash of stuff you need (and some that you don't) that has no other home. There is an easier way to concur the junk. You can simple purchase a drawer divider and organize your small items this way. If you are like me and keep big junk than it’s time to bring out the big guns, grouping guns that is. By using rubber bands and Velcro stripes you can keep things like pencils and some hard ware tools (the two that you have), neat and organized. Use simple paper clips to hold things like coupons and those long lost menus. Recycle old mint tins and jewelry boxes to help keep those small items all together. Of course all the other really unnecessary items toss em you probably don’t need them anyway.
“Technology Take Over” Different Remotes and lots of cables wires can became an ugly site in the place where you bring your dates. To keep this hot mess together, take it back to the old school. Use Velcro strips to keep all the wires together. Use Velcro tape to put on the back of the remote and it becomes an instant magnet to any piece of furniture or wall. Put the fuzzy side of the Velcro tape on the controllers, so they won't catch on bedding.
“Single Socks”Whether they don't land in the hamper or are eaten by the washer, stray socks litter the laundry room and clog dresser drawers. Collect clean single socks in a bin or bag by the dryer. Then host a re-pairing party to match up the stragglers. Use leftovers for dusting and cleaning.
“Mad Magazines” Of course you have all these magazines that you just cannot get rid of. The coffee table is about to cave from the weight of the books and you just don’t know what else to do with them. Well can I make a suggestion? First all the magazines that you have already read toss em. Keep the single articles that you like from them and put them in a folder. For the other magazines simply purchase an nice basket and leave it by the door, that way when you get the mail you know that the unread mags, go in that basket. It’s a cute and organized way to be a little lazy, we won’t tell anybody.

The week I want to talk to you all about patterns. That’s right patterns. I am going to tell you all about a simple pattern that can make any room in your home look fabulous. That friendly pattern is Stripes. You have seen correctly stripes. Patterns can give any room a graphic kick. Stripes are a simple, clean, classic way to kick that room up a knock. Stripes can be used anyway you want them to be used. They can be an accent or the entire room can be in stripes. Now the width and or length of the stripes are up to you. That all depends on the look you are going for in that particular room. Let me just give you a little reminder, Vertical stripes makes something look longer as horizontal stripes make something look wider. You take it from there. But I would also like to add that if you plan on doing a child’s room I would go with the smaller stripes that are sort of close and not so spaced out. The wider the stripes are the more sophisticated. Stripes can be placed in any room of the home; from a shower curtain in the bathroom to a stripe rug in the living room you name it. As far as colors go you can use any colors you want. I actually love the neutrals; they seem to be just a little more sophisticated to me. Black and white always works; I think that mixing white with any color can bring your room a lot of glam.

Luxury Lamps
Hey fans it’s me again your spunky girl for your home interior world. Yeah that was kind of corny but anyway. I am back and this time I bring to you accessories. I want to give you some tips on how to accessories your home. This week I will focus on lamps, different lamps can make a living room or bedroom look like a totally new place. Now you may have done all that you can do to a room in your home and you still feel like it’s just not working out the way you want it to. You feel it needs something. Well for those of you who are thinking that your room could use a little boost. Ask your self have you tried lighting? Something as simple as a lamp to add light to a room can make a big difference in the appearance of a room. Try different colors and prints when shopping for lamps. If you are not a bold person who likes a lot of colors and prints, then shop for style. When I say shop for style I mean shop for the look of the lamp, its shape and overall design. While some lighting can be expensive and requires much work, other lighting can be simple and easy so easy you can just go to your local store or favorite online site and order that perfect lamp.
I was looking online this weekend for lamps. I wanted to find a cool lamp to go into my bedroom. I felt that I could bring out the colors in my room or add flare to my room by simply adding a lamp. Who would have thought that lamps would be so cool? During my search I came across this really cool site that sells all types of things to accessories your home with. I immediately feel in love. The name of the site was Accessoryseen. I absolutely love this site. I had never seen such cooler things in my life than I did on this site. And of course knowing me I had to choose my top picks and this week I chose six. I picked out six lamps that I feel will help bring any dark room to life. Now I love these lamps and they will work well in my home. But I also feel that these lamps may do you some good also if not, check out the website and maybe you will fall in love too. Now don’t limit yourself to just that one place, shop around just keep in mind that you are shopping for new lamps to help bring style and light into your room, although it would not hurt if you picked up a couple other new accessories in the process.

Listen up ladies and gents you no longer have to have the blues about blue… As I say step into the new you with blue. (Turquoise blue). This season we are mixing and matching turquoise with any and everything, well everything that works. Turquoise can be use as an accent, color or for all you bold lovers, paint your entire room. Both can be done to enhance the look and feel of your home. Spring is here and it’s time to celebrate. I know we all have heard that blue makes us feel calmed and relaxed. This season blue will make you feel calmed and excited, because we are Turning It Up With Turquoise. It’s all about mixing and matching colors this season. My top 6 accents colors with turquoise are: pink, yellow, brown, black, green, and white. All of these colors and more can be played around with, to accentuate any room in the home. If you like soft and calm, then mix turquoise and white. If you like eclectic and wild, then mix Turquoise and pink. The list just goes on with accent opportunities.
