Boyfriend Jean to Boyfriend Tee.
You might think a tee shirt is plain and boring but I will give you some tips on how to take that plain tee shirt to the next level.
• Give it an instant upgrade with a vest that is studded or has embellishments, the ultimate sweet and sexy look.
• Give yourself and edgy look by taking a graphic tee shirt and pair it with a textured skirt. Go for a black or white graphic tee and a bold color skirt to really show off that texture.
• That scarves were for the winter? Think again. To take that tee from boring to fun tie on a scarf.
• Another good look that is crossing over to summer is layering your tee with an evening jacket or blazer. Just like the vest find one with embellishments or studs to give it that extra something.
• Plain white tee shirts can be boring if you don’t layer or accessorize with them. If you don’t want layer or accessorize then find a tee with a paint splatter look or spray paint look. Better yet do it yourself! Take a plain tee and splatter paint on it not only will it be a show stopping piece but it will be your design.
• Give your tee an eclectic twist and add a statement necklace.
• Another way to dress up that tee, add formal shorts. For evening wear take the other tips such as a vest or blazer to switch day wear to evening wear.
• Scrunch up the sleeves on your tee, or roll them up giving you that James Dean look.

This super feminine look will not only give a fresh feel
it will keep you classy and confident.Bags, Bracelets, and Shoes...OH MY!
This week I’m staying with the theme of accessories. I gave you a few top items that you need to have for the spring and now I am going to add to the list.
Jewelry is always fun, it can spice up an outfit or keep it classy and simple. In my eyes the more the better, you can never be too flashy and exciting. Let’s start with bracelets; they are an easy go to piece that you can work with just one or multiples. I personally love bangles and so does spring so start there… stack them, mix and match them, and don’t be scared of different textures and colors. If you’re not sure how many to start with grab 2 or 3 and work your way up with different widths and designs until you feel you are making a statement.
To go along with the theme of layering, necklaces are also a good piece to start with when piling on the jewelry. Chains are in this season and wearing a number of them is something you can pull off for the spring. Also with chains and necklaces you are going to deal with different links and lengths and that’s fine, work with these pieces and shows the different designs and textures.
Clear jewelry is something that can match with any outfit, any color, and any design. It may sound strange but it is a great member to go along with your neutral and soft colors. Necklaces and bracelets are a good place to start when working with this type of accessory. Find a gold necklace that has clear pieces on it, or one huge bangle that is clear and give it a test run.
Like I said before accessories are suppose to be fun, so don’t be scared to play with textures and colors while stacking them sky high.
Need something to spice up the outfit or bring your look to the next level? We’ll spring is all about accessories, from shoes to handbags and everything in between I have done my research and I am going to break down some of the accessory must haves.
• Big sunglasses have always been the security accessory that every girl loves, this spring keep the look but go two-toned with your glasses. Be sure to stick with more neutral tone that blends well with a bright color or a pattern. You don’t want to get to colorful then it just becomes a mess.
• Wedges are not only comfortable they are still a hot item for spring and you can be daring by going with a bright color. Pair this shoe up with your boyfriend shorts to make them more feminine and flirty or stick to a dress for you shopping day with the girls.
• Keep a classic Doctor Bag around that can be in any color or texture for day time outfit.
• Gladiator sandals were popular last spring and now we have switched to more Grecian inspired. They can go great with a dress or bring a t-shirt and shorts to a new level.
• Thought boots where just for the winter? Think again. Boots are sticking around for the spring just stick with your neutral tan colors to work with denim or your colored shorts.
• For daytime Doctor Bags and for night grab that Boho clutch that sets an eclectic look to any outfit you match it with. Don’t be afraid to mix and match patterns and colors, who said your clutch couldn’t make a statement?
• Not into wedges or boots? Try Lace-up heel that give you fun and sex appeal.

All Natural, All Nude, All You
Bringing new colors into your wardrobe and home can be fun and revitalizing but now let’s focus on the beauty aspect. Eye shadows can be fun and flirty that can make your eyes shine and grab the attention. Beige is the new nude and keeping your lips soft and your cheeks a light rose can really allow a vivid eye. You want to keep a natural look this spring and show that make up does not define your look, stay with a nude base when working with your lips, cheeks, and eyes.
We will start with your fair skin females. For your cheeks use a matte-shimmer with a hint of pink that gives you that healthy look instead of flushed out. For your lips stick with a nude base color that has hints of pink and pearl defining the lips but not allowing them to be your focal point. To bring the eyes in you want to keep the theme of nude but give them that extra something. Start with a sheer wash over the entire lid, then take a color in the blue green family and apply it. Starting out with sheer base then a striking color such as sea-foam green on the eye will dim down the intensity but still give you that “pop” that you are trying to create.
For our medium tone females you want to blend your make up with your olive skin creating the image of a flawless natural look. First with your cheeks stick with a brown base rose color that will unify and still give you color, you want to stay away from too much contrast. With your lips let them stand out just a bit with a nude that is one shade darker than your skin tone, helping balance your eyes that we are going to color blue. Cool blues look refreshing on an olive skin tone, go over the lid with a sheer base that can keep you light during the day and you can adjust darker in the night.
For a darker skin, violet is a beautiful color on the eyes and really makes them shine. Apply this color on the lids to your liking, you can either apply the violet eye shadow over the lid or make them gleam by outlining the eye with thin line as if you’re applying eye liner. Since this purple eye is going to make a stand keep the lips a reddish brown nude color that still makes them noticeable without using a pink or bright red. To top it off coral looks great on the cheeks and gives you a healthy glow.
Every girl has a different skin tone and different tolerance for colors and make up. You can always head to your nearest department store beauty counters to get a full color reading and help with your base color. This spring keep it simple and stay natural and neutral with your undertones and creamy textures for easy blending.

New Hues for a New You
Spring is here and summer is just around the corner so take off the black and fall colors and stand out in popping colors. The new hues are headed back to the basics and right into your crayon shades, allowing you to mix them with neutrals. Take colors such as orange, red, yellow, turquoise, and blue and mix them with champagne, Grey, tan, white, and navy. Wearing a Grey dress can be cute but not eye-catching, twist your style by bringing in strappy red shoes to brighten the whole outfit up. Bright red or yellow dresses are your show stopping piece so tone your outfit down by bringing in tan or white shoes.
Not only can you bring these colors into your wardrobe but also take loud colors and put them into your home décor. Don’t’ be afraid to take a different tint or shade of a basic color and bring flavor and spice into your living area. Paint your floors, doors, or even built in pieces such as bookcases or shelves. Don’t want to paint? Use wallpaper that gives a funky design or use of two colors that brighten up the room and give you a new fresh feeling. Take an Atlantic blue and pair it with a lighter shade of blue to give it more contrast allowing the color and room to stand out.
If you can’t paint or you are fine with neutral colors and don’t want to take a risk with bright bold colors try furniture and accessories. Turn a formal room into the new fun room with a loud piece of furniture. Get a candy apple red couch into the room of neutrals or black and white to give it some spice and flavor. Another way you could bring color to that coffee table or kitchen area is bringing color to the chairs. Bring in some bold chairs leaving some white or get all chairs involved by choosing a color and painting them in different shades of that daring color you chose.
Fashion can be fun, so why can’t your home be? Don’t be scared of new color trends in your clothing and reinventing your home by bringing spring inside.

I am a huge fan of going green! I think Eco-friendly fashion is going to be a big hit! Thanks for the tips I am going to check out the brand!
